Kathy Hayden
Kathy Hayden, owner and Creative Director of Kindermusik with Kathy, first brought Kindermusik to Santa Barbara County in 1998. Kathy has always surrounded herself with children, and loves nothing more than to be in the presence of the imaginative, free and young-spirited!

She received a BA in Liberal Studies/Psychology, and a Multiple Subjects Credential for Elementary Ages in 1985. She since has begun her Master's degree in Educational Administration. She has directed day cares, taught kindergarten and first grade in England and California, owned and operated three Gymboree franchises, receiving “Franchise of the Year”, and many honorary awards. Kathy has extensive training in sensory-motor integration and play therapy for infants and toddlers, has trained with renowned music and movement specialist, Phyllis Weikert, and regularly attends Orff musical trainings and workshops. She is the mother of 2 beautiful daughters, Karina, 20 years and Cerise, 16 years.

Kathy has been honored as a Kindermusik Maestro Educator since 2001, and her program has been recognized for exceptional service in bringing music to families in the community.

Kindermusik and Kathy are a perfect match. Her passion is teaching creatively with music, stories and play, loving children and connecting families.

Ana Valladeres
Ana Valladeres has been teaching, singing, playing her guitar, and loving children at Kindermusik with Kathy since February 2005. Having studied piano as a child, Ana eventually gravitated toward classical vocal training. She has sung in many choirs throughout the nation and has performed as a professional singer. While singing is her muse, teaching is Ana's true love. She developed her own "Young Singers" after-school program, and also teaches a vocal workshop for adults.

Ana directs the children's choir, Kinder Choir, at Kindermusik with Kathy.

Ana's philosophy:

To first encounter music as play is to lay the foundation for a beautiful, joyous, life- long relationship with music.

Sabra Weber
Sabra Weber, Bachelors of Music in classical flute with an emphasis in ethnomusicology. Her love of Cuban music brought her to study the flute in Cuba, and later, Cuban dance with Roberto Borrell in San Francisco. She currently performs and tours with her quartet, Cascada de Flores, performing music from Mexico and Cuba from the early 1900's.

With a two-year old son of her own, Sabra sought out ways of furthering her son's musical education, and Kindermusik quickly became a favorite experience. Sabra is excited about teaching Spanish Time, a version of Kindermusik that provides an enriched opportunity to experience both music and Spanish.

Molly Morgan
Molly Morgan has been working with children for more than two years in the Santa Barbara and Ventura area. While teaching, she is also a student. Molly is a licensed Kindermusik educator who has been teaching for over two and half years in the Santa Barbara and Ventura area and is enrolled in Santa Barbara City College's EarlyChildhood Education program. Molly also resided in Chicago where she attended Columbia College with studies emphasizing Music Business.

Music has largely impacted her community and life by actively singing soprano in the Santa Barbara Choral. Other endeavors include teaching private piano, along with musical interests in the cello, drums and guitar.
