Ana Valladeres
Ana Valladeres has been teaching, singing, playing
her guitar, and loving children at Kindermusik with Kathy since
February 2005. Having studied piano as a child, Ana eventually
gravitated toward classical vocal training. She has sung in many choirs
throughout the nation and has performed as a professional singer. While
singing is her muse, teaching is Ana's true love. She developed her own
"Young Singers" after-school program, and also teaches a vocal workshop
for adults.
Ana directs the children's choir, Kinder Choir, at
Kindermusik with Kathy.
Ana's philosophy:
To first encounter music as play is to lay the
foundation for a beautiful, joyous, life- long relationship with music.
Sabra Weber
Sabra Weber, Bachelors of Music in classical flute
with an emphasis in ethnomusicology. Her love of Cuban music brought
her to study the flute in Cuba, and later, Cuban dance with Roberto
Borrell in San Francisco. She currently performs and tours with her
quartet, Cascada de Flores, performing music from Mexico and Cuba from
the early 1900's.
With a two-year old son of her own, Sabra sought out
ways of furthering her son's musical education, and Kindermusik quickly
became a favorite experience. Sabra is excited about teaching Spanish
Time, a version of Kindermusik that provides an enriched opportunity to
experience both music and Spanish.
