Our most popular camp!.....Let’s Take A Trip Around The World, Get Ready Let’s GO....campers leave on an imaginary musical trip each day, exploring cultures of Europe, Japan, Africa and Mexico. Activities share stories, tales, music, folkdances, instruments, games native to each country. Cooking will by part of each day and culture!
All told, it’s an Around-the Imagination adventure!

A keyboard and music by the well-known composer, J.S. Bach, help your child get ready and familiar with the piano. The answer is right at the tip of your fingers! The same fine motor skills, brain-gym wiring and hand-eye coordination are all fun and essential elements for your young and budding musician!! Camp is for new and beginning piano players.
Home Kit: $17. Pair of castanets instrument, Home CD, and magazine-style Family Guide (includes the class story Coppertop and the Four Keyboards)

Get an extra helping of learning to cook, eat and share—with some jazz music, songs and dances in the mix. Beginning keyboard and jazzy finger-playing games introduced! In your Home Kit, read about the little chef who, along with her friends, whips up a batch of Noodles from Scratch. In camp, your child will use stories and other activities to learn to observe and enjoy Jazz styles of music.

Dancing Fingers, Hands and Bodies will love this week! During this week long course we will be not only learning to play a handful of songs on the keyboard/piano, we will be exploring the exciting world behind the music. An in depth study of theory and culture that will make this music class really come alive with dancing and games! The piano skills learned during this time will help your child not only mathematically but allow him/her to be excited and comfortable with playing the piano!!!

Join the Pow Pow and beat on our gathering drum each day!! A special guest playing the Native American flute will join us to teach us how to play the native flute. In camp we’ll explore the rhythms, dances and sounds of Native American music. As we investigate, compare, and contrast a wide variety of drums, your camper develops the investigative vocabulary needed in the sciences. They will be introduced to the recorder and play a simple melody with our native songs. When you repeat rhythm patterns at home and share the activities in your Home Kit, your child gets an early start in math, too.
